LMB Livestock through its membership of Rural Marketing Agents (RMA) support the Casterton Kelpie Auction with the RMA Working Dog Auction Futurity. Auctioneer Bernie Grant lends his voice to the auction.
On the Saturday of the festival you can see some of the finest display of working dogs within Australia. It’s also a great chance to see the working dog you might be looking for work before you start your bidding on the Sunday at the Working Dog Auction.
At the Working Dog Auction on the Sunday, all dogs are given a set limit of time to demonstrate their talents with their current owner. This is a great way to see how well trained and well breed your future working dog works in the yards and on the land. Our Auction also gives you the opportunity beforehand to speak to the owners of the working dog prior to the Auction.
